All along my social media training almost 6 years ago, I got to learn amazing things from amazing marketing professionals online who helped me and inspired me on my quest to become a social media professional. One of the challenges of combining studies with a 9 to 5 job, while building up inspiring projects with a deadline - and a goal - is the low chance of being able to meet with a mentor face-to-face on a regular basis. I had too many gaps to fill while figuring how to make things work in the best possible way.
I faced this challenge and this is why I understand the importance of sharing my experience with everyone in search of in-depth learning of how social media works, at a personal and professional level. I've been involved day-in-day-out in the design, creation, and distribution of online content, organic and sponsored, for brands, and personal brands since 2012. I have gone through the ups & downs of the daily challenges that social media presents in terms of results and achievement, but keeping my self there, not giving up, and finding creative ways to get the expected results, is what enables me to teach, share, and inspire others to do as I did. Brands are made of people and these people are the ones that, with conscious planning and focused ideas, form the essence that identify that particular brand, a product and a service. They are the creators of that particular fingerprint.
The path of social media is not always easy to follow. Specially lately, things transition rapidly. We are living in a constant trend-changing environment that every now and then sends us off our tracks, making us rerout our initial plans. Some of us are used to this by experiencing these changes in our daily lives, and we have learned to rapidly adapt and keep ourselves, and our clients, within that track.
This is the part where consulting comes in. A careful study of a brand's communication challenges, their doubts, questions and ideas about where the brand wants to be, followed by a mindful planning of its possibilities, all these connected to the online behavior and environment, is what will lead the way to success. I have a professional background of over 25 years – from Airlines’ agent to Hospitality and then giving a try to completely new areas that included an Art Gallery, a Golf agency and a Language Education program.
In 2011 I went through the process of overhauling my career and exploring a more focused path according to my skills, which led me back to the origins of my professional studies: Marketing and Advertising.
